May, 2015 KKN Managers Report
Aloha owners, its summer time at the Kihei Kai Nani! As we all know summer time is our slow season, this is when we do our “Property projects” and yearly maintenance. Our dedicated staff takes pride in keeping the Kihei Kai Nani in good shape. This is also the time when many owners do upgrades, remodels and deep cleaning (please stay in touch with our front desk, so “we know what’s going on”), and for any remodels you must fill out our upgrade check list. If you have a ground floor unit and want to do a remodel, please contact me, as our plumbing projects progress. This is also a great time to bring your lanai area into compliance; all lanais should be clean-uncluttered and maintain a uniform look, in accordance with our house rules. “Mahalo for your understanding”
We are off to a great start this summer, with the following projects:
Continued Painting of entryways; we completed about 75% of our entry ways last summer, tearing up the worn green entry carpets and painting the entry with the same basic non-slip color as the steps, we have found this to be easier to clean and it looks so much better. Not to worry, we are working around the guests arrivals; we will contact owners on an as needed basis.
Re-striping and minor patching of our parking lot; We start with the front lot and slowly work our way to the top, this also gives us a chance to have all owner’s get their vehicles into compliance.
Pool area, On May 4th Huber Pools will be resurfacing our pool; in conjunction we will be doing some electrical upgrades, ground lighting and new lights/outlets in our cabanas.
Lots of common element touch up paint, Laundry room, bathroom, walls, flag polls, guard shack, pavilion. Than small sidewalk and parking lot repairs, clean up the bike rack area, the car wash area, we hope to have the place in great shape by the end of September. “Just in time for the fall season”
